Born and raised in Hong Kong and Sydney, Ben has a multinational background in Business, Accounting and Management before his creative epiphany and decided to embark on his journey in the fashion industry. His love for style, couture, art and design eventually led him to London, where he graduated top of his class with an honours degree at the prestigious London College of Fashion.

Specializing in print design and graphics, and with previous experience in New York and London, Ben's work has been featured in many publications and TV shows in Hong Kong and abroad including Marie Claire, GQ, The Daily Mail, Fashion One, TVB Pearl, Fashion China, China Daily, Oriental Daily, and Milk Magazine. Highlights of his career so far include being an on-screen mentor/consultant on a UK fashion reality show and costume designing for the Closing Ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Now based in Hong Kong, Ben established b.yu Designs in 2013 and is ready to take on the world with his striking, beautiful and unique garments for all occasions.
